The Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Selezione of Castello Vicchiomaggio, produced by the historic Petri winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico territory, represents an elegant and refined expression of pure Sangiovese. This wine is born from vineyards located on hills rich in galestro, a soil that imparts minerality and structure to the fruit. After controlled fermentation, the aging takes place in oak barrels that harmonize the vibrant character and freshness of the grape variety with softness and complexity. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe cherry, plum, sweet spices, and earthy hints reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub emerge. The taste is full, velvety, and well balanced, with silky tannins and a persistence that invites long pairings. Ideal with typical Tuscan dishes such as bistecca alla fiorentina, it also perfectly accompanies aged cheeses and roasted meats.

A Chianti Classico that tells the story of its territory with balance and authenticity, for those who love deep and structured wines.
