Clandestino Rosso della Costa d’Amalfi Tramonti DOC is a wine that presents a restrained Mediterranean character, where the fragrance of red fruit merges with notes of Mediterranean scrub and a saline hint that recalls the coastal exposure. In the glass it shows a bright ruby; on the nose cherry and small red berries emerge, with light herbaceous nuances and a subtle spiciness, while the body remains slender and measured, supported by lively freshness and soft tannins.

On the palate the sip is harmonious and very drinkable: sapidity balances the fruity component and makes the finish straightforward and clean, with a pleasant persistence without becoming heavy. It is best appreciated in its youth, when the fruit is lively and the drinking remains immediate and smooth. A versatile wine for everyday Mediterranean cooking — tomato pasta, pizza, cured meats and young cheeses — but it also stands up to white meats and light roasts; ideal for convivial meals. Serve slightly chilled (around 14–16 °C) to enhance its freshness.
