The story
The estate was founded when Fabio Coser, together with his wife Daniela, purchased a property in the heart of the Collio; the name comes from the presence of colonies of badgers and from the vineyards’ typical 'ronco' layout. Production philosophy
Quality-focused approach to raw materials: careful attention to vine training systems and frequent vineyard inspections to bring healthy grapes to the winery and allow winemaking that highlights the typicity of the terroir. In the historic blends, ageing in wood and vinification in stainless steel are balanced to achieve complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Terroir and vineyards
Collio Goriziano, in the municipality of Cormòns, at altitudes ranging from approximately 140 to 200 m above sea level; close to the protected Plessiva area, characterized by terraced vineyards and a rich presence of flora and fauna. The territory is fundamental to the style of the wines, with a strong focus on indigenous and international white varieties cultivated in the area.
