The Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla by Formentini dal Collio represents an authentic expression of one of the most characteristic and distinctive vines of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. This native variety, symbol of Collio viticulture, is celebrated for its ability to produce extremely elegant, fresh and highly drinkable white wines. Formentini dal Collio, a winery with deep territorial roots and a long history of dedication to quality, presents a Ribolla Gialla which is a tribute to the tradition and biodiversity of Friuli.

To the eye, the wine has a light straw yellow color, embellished with greenish reflections that underline its liveliness. The olfactory bouquet is inviting and complex, dominated by notes of wild flowers and white pulp fruit, such as apple and pear, with a hint of citrus and a subtle mineral vein that recalls the marly soil on which the vineyards are grown.

On the palate, Formentini dal Collio's Ribolla Gialla surprises with its freshness and minerality, with a well-balanced acidity that gives the wine extraordinary drinkability and a long aromatic persistence. The texture is fine and harmonious, with a light bitter note typical of the grape variety which enriches the finish, leaving the mouth clean and ready for the next sip.

This wine is an excellent accompaniment to light appetizers, fish dishes, seafood and herb risottos. Its elegance and freshness also make it perfect as an aperitif, capable of stimulating the appetite and offering moments of pure sensorial pleasure.

With its Collio DOC Ribolla Gialla, Formentini dal Collio offers a window into the unique character of the Collio terroir, through a wine that speaks the language of the land with refinement and authenticity.
