The Cornas "La Geynale" produced by Vincent Paris is one of the most representative red wines from the Rhône Valley. This excellence emanates from old Syrah vines, some of which are over 90 years old, cultivated on steep slopes that benefit from an ideal microclimate for the development of rich and concentrated grapes. La Geynale stands out for its limited production, thus representing a pure and intense expression of the Cornas terroir.

This wine presents itself with a dark red color, almost uncompromising, which hints at a complex nose of black fruits, earthy spices, and subtle traces of wood smoke. On the palate, power and refinement blend magnificently: robust yet mature tannins, balanced acidity, and a long aromatic persistence make each sip memorable. For those seeking a wine that can age gracefully, La Geynale offers this potential, evolving splendidly for over a decade. Thus, it becomes an ideal choice to accompany structured dishes such as grilled red meats, rich stews, and aged cheeses.

Regularly featured in the offerings of international distributors and praised by the specialist press.
Winery history
Vincent Paris established his own estate after studying viticulture and oenology. The project began with small vineyards in Cornas and later expanded to include several crus of the Northern Rhône. The official website and technical sheets report that operations started in 1997.
Production philosophy
Vineyard work focused on quality: practices in "culture raisonnée" with limited treatments, grass cutting where possible, severe pruning, manual leaf thinning and targeted harvesting; in the cellar, controlled vinifications with macerations and carefully managed aging.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Cornas on steep granite slopes that inspire the cuvée names; it also produces wines in the Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage appellations and a Vin de Pays/IGP from the Ardèche.
