The Cote du Rhone "L'Emouvante" from Domaine Gramenon is a refined expression of the terroir of the Rhone region. Produced in limited quantities, this red wine is the result of meticulous selection of Grenache grapes, which provide a robust structure and intense aromatic depth. In the glass, "L'Emouvante" presents itself with a deep ruby red color and violet hues.

On the nose, the bouquet is complex and seductive, with notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and plum, enriched by hints of sweet spices, leather, and a slight touch of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is vigorous and well-balanced, characterized by excellent acidity and mature tannins that promise an excellent aging potential. The flavors of ripe fruit harmoniously blend with accents of black pepper and dark chocolate, leading to a long and persistent finish.

"L'Emouvante" from Domaine Gramenon is ideal to pair with rich and flavorful dishes such as roasted meats, game-based dishes, or aged cheeses. A wine that enhances the tradition and excellence of the Cote du Rhone, perfect for special occasions or as a refined gift for passionate wine enthusiasts.

Winery history
Founded in 1978 in Montbrison-sur-Lez by Philippe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry-Laurent, the estate has grown while maintaining a natural farming approach. After Philippe’s passing, Michèle continued to manage the estate together with the family, with their son Maxime-François involved in the estate’s wine projects.
Production philosophy
Vineyards are managed without synthetic chemicals, following biodynamic practices and with minimal intervention in the cellar: hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentations and limited or no use of sulfites depending on the vintage. The stated goal is to produce lively, expressive, approachable wines that emphasize fruit and terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in Montbrison-sur-Lez in the Drôme provençale, at the foot of the Prealps. Hill vineyards sit at about 300–350 meters altitude on sandstone soils and layers of marine molasse; the estate also includes parcels in neighboring areas belonging to the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône appellation.
