The Coteaux Vendômois Rouge Vieilles Vignes by Patrice Colin is an exceptional example that captures the essence of the Loire Valley's terroir. Made exclusively from old vines, this red wine is a tribute to the tradition and art of winemaking. It is primarily crafted with Pineau d'Aunis grapes, a rare local variety renowned for its ability to impart a unique complexity and distinctive spiciness to the wine.

The color of the wine is a bright and lively red. On the nose, it offers an intriguing bouquet of black pepper, wild berries, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, Coteaux Vendômois Rouge Vieilles Vignes reveals itself to be balanced with a fresh acidity and soft tannins that support flavors of cherry, wild strawberry, and a light hint of aromatic herbs. Its finish is clean and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Ideal to serve at a temperature of 16-18°C, this red wine pairs beautifully with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses. A noble addition to any table, it represents an authentic expression of its terroir.

Winery history
