Coteaux Bourguignons - Domaine de Bellene is a wine that embodies the innovative spirit and respect for tradition of one of Burgundy's most renowned producers, Nicolas Potel. This appellation, relatively recent in the historic French wine region, allows for flexibility in the use of grape varieties and aims to offer an accessible and versatile representation of Burgundy, for both reds and whites.

Domaine de Bellene, founded by Nicolas Potel in 2005, is dedicated to producing wines that best express the unique character of each vineyard, with a strong commitment to sustainable and biodynamic agricultural practices. Domaine de Bellene's Coteaux Bourguignons represents this philosophy, offering a wine that is both a tribute to the diversity of the region and an example of the domaine's ability to produce high-quality wines that reflect the terroir.

Coteaux Bourguignons can be made from a variety of grape varieties, including Pinot Noir and Gamay for reds, and Chardonnay and Aligoté for whites. The exact blend may vary depending on the vintage, but Domaine de Bellene's goal is always to create a balanced wine that offers an inviting introduction to the complexity of Burgundian wines.

Visually, the Coteaux Bourguignons of Domaine de Bellene can present itself with a color that varies from light ruby red to straw yellow, depending on the blend of vines. On the nose, reds tend to offer aromas of fresh red fruits and floral notes, while whites can express aromas of white pulp fruit, wild flowers and a light minerality.

In the mouth, Domaine de Bellene's Coteaux Bourguignons wines are characterized by remarkable freshness and drinkability, with a structure that makes them suitable for a wide range of occasions, from aperitifs to meals. The balance between acidity and fruitiness makes these wines particularly versatile in terms of gastronomic pairings.
