The Cristal Brut Millésimé presented in Louis Roederer's Millésimé Box is a supreme expression of luxury and refinement, destined to celebrate the most significant moments. This limited edition, housed in an elegant box, not only elevates the tasting experience, but also serves as a testament to Louis Roederer's dedication to uncompromising quality and excellence.

First created for Tsar Alexander II of Russia in 1876, Cristal has established itself as one of the most prestigious champagnes in the world, a symbol of innovation and perfection. Each vintage is the result of an exceptional vintage, a careful selection of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from the Maison's most exclusive crus, a long maturation in the cellar that exceeds 6 years, and a rest of at least 8 months after disgorgement to reach its maximum expression.

The color is an intense golden yellow, with brilliant reflections and a fine and persistent perlage that anticipates the complexity and finesse of champagne. On the nose, Cristal Millésimé offers a wide range of aromas, from fresh and candied fruit, to citrus fruits, up to notes of toasted brioche, honey and vanilla, the result of the harmonious fusion between fruit and maturation.

In the mouth, the champagne reveals itself with a powerful and balanced structure, a creamy texture and a lively freshness, which blend into a harmonious whole. The aromatic complexity is expressed through intense and refined flavours, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a sensation of elegance and perfection.

Presented in its Millésimé box, the Cristal becomes not only a symbol of celebration, but also a collector's item, ideal for enthusiasts and collectors of rare and prestigious wines. The box, in addition to protecting and enhancing the bottle, pays homage to the prestige of this exceptional champagne.

Ideal as a luxury gift or to commemorate an unforgettable event, the Cristal Brut Millésimé in its Millésimé Box by Louis Roederer represents the pinnacle of French winemaking tradition, combining history, art and winemaking mastery in an unparalleled tasting experience.

Champagne house based in Reims, renowned for its prestige cuvée Cristal and for direct control over much of its fruit through estate-owned vineyards. Strong commitment to organic and biodynamic practices.
Region: Champagne
Country: Francia
Founded: 1776
Grapes: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier
Cristal: a prestige cuvée created in 1876, the symbol of the house. Approximately 240 hectares of estate vineyards, distributed across 410 parcels in the main terroirs of Champagne. Parcel-by-parcel approach to winemaking and extended maturation in the cellar. A well-established commitment to organic and biodynamic practices; significant portions of the vineyard have been converted to organic and biodynamic farming. Annual production of approximately 3.5 million bottles, with a broad international presence.
Winery history
The house dates back to the 18th century: the business began as a small négociant and over time was inherited and renamed by Louis Roederer. In the 19th century the maison consolidated its position in foreign markets and in 1876 created its flagship cuvée, Cristal, at the request of Tsar Alexander II. During the 20th century and in recent years the family continued to expand the vineyards and the group also acquired other international wine estates.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to grape quality and respect for the land: parcel-by-parcel winemaking, extended cellar ageing, and a growing focus on sustainable viticulture. In recent decades the estate has begun converting to organic and biodynamic practices to enhance the terroir and biodiversity.
Terroir and vineyards
Estate-owned vineyards spread across the Champagne Grands Crus, notably the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs; headquarters and principal winery in Reims.
