This Curtefranca DOC Corte del Lupo Rosso 2021 from Ca' Del Bosco shows a vivid ruby color with violaceous highlights that invite bringing the glass closer. On the nose it offers a composite aromatic profile: notes of ripe red fruit, light spicy nuances, a hint of aromatic herbs and earthy touches that emerge progressively. The intensity is measured and the concentration is not excessive, with good harmony among the elements and an overall impression that favors elegant tones over concentrated extremes.

On the palate it is balanced, with tannins present but not intrusive and a freshness that supports the structure without overpowering it. The finish is savory and persists with fruity recalls; it pairs well with flavorful meats, semi‑aged cheeses and everyday dishes. Recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C, serve in large glasses and, if desired, a brief aeration in decanting to better appreciate aromatic development.

Winery history
The Zanella family transformed a small farmhouse in the hills of Erbusco into a winemaking project featuring high-density vineyards and cellar innovations. The first vineyards were planted in the late 1960s; commercial production began in the early 1970s with their first Franciacorta and Curtefranca labels. Over the decades the estate has expanded its vineyards, introduced new winemaking techniques and established iconic wines such as the Cuvée Annamaria Clementi and reserve versions.
Production philosophy
The winery states an approach that places listening to nature at its core, balancing tradition and innovation. This is reflected in practices aimed at enhancing the terroir, targeted technological investments to preserve the qualities of the grapes, and cultural initiatives that connect wine and art. Since 2014, the adoption of certified organic viticulture on part of the estate has been reported.
