Curtefranca DOC Corte del Lupo Rosso 2022 in magnum format is a Ca' Del Bosco offering for those seeking an expressive red presented with care. Of medium ruby color, it opens on the nose with notes of ripe red fruit, subtle spice nuances and more tertiary hints that make room for a complex yet measured profile. On the palate it shows balanced structure, well-integrated tannins and persistence that supports the sip without excess, offering impressions of fruit, sweet spices and a light mineral note.

The magnum format and wooden case make it suitable for convivial occasions or for those who wish to cellar bottles more slowly; opening it a little in advance allows better expression of the aromas. It pairs easily with traditional dishes, cured meats, lean white and red meats and medium-aged cheeses. Recommended serving temperature around 16–18 °C and, if possible, a short decanting to enhance the aromas.

Winery history
The Zanella family transformed a small farmhouse in the hills of Erbusco into a winemaking project featuring high-density vineyards and cellar innovations. The first vineyards were planted in the late 1960s; commercial production began in the early 1970s with their first Franciacorta and Curtefranca labels. Over the decades the estate has expanded its vineyards, introduced new winemaking techniques and established iconic wines such as the Cuvée Annamaria Clementi and reserve versions.
Production philosophy
The winery states an approach that places listening to nature at its core, balancing tradition and innovation. This is reflected in practices aimed at enhancing the terroir, targeted technological investments to preserve the qualities of the grapes, and cultural initiatives that connect wine and art. Since 2014, the adoption of certified organic viticulture on part of the estate has been reported.
