The Curtefranca DOC Corte del Lupo Rosso 2023 from Ca' Del Bosco shows a balance that favors freshness and a pleasant tannic framework. In color it displays medium-intensity ruby tones; on the nose it opens with ripe red fruit aromas, light floral hints and subtle spicy notes that integrate without dominating. The structure is supported but not excessive, with acidity that gives dynamism to the sip and polished tannins that shape the flavor profile.

On the palate it offers a savory, harmonious progression, with fruity echoes and a persistence that invites continued tasting. It is a versatile wine, suitable with moderately structured dishes such as simply prepared red meats, medium-aged cheeses and mushroom-based recipes. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature, around 16–18 °C, and it is advisable to uncork the bottle a few minutes before drinking to allow the aromas to open.

Winery history
The Zanella family transformed a small farmhouse in the hills of Erbusco into a winemaking project featuring high-density vineyards and cellar innovations. The first vineyards were planted in the late 1960s; commercial production began in the early 1970s with their first Franciacorta and Curtefranca labels. Over the decades the estate has expanded its vineyards, introduced new winemaking techniques and established iconic wines such as the Cuvée Annamaria Clementi and reserve versions.
Production philosophy
The winery states an approach that places listening to nature at its core, balancing tradition and innovation. This is reflected in practices aimed at enhancing the terroir, targeted technological investments to preserve the qualities of the grapes, and cultural initiatives that connect wine and art. Since 2014, the adoption of certified organic viticulture on part of the estate has been reported.
