Marolo's Aged Apple Distillate "Carpendu Vei" offers an elegant aromatic profile of good intensity. On the nose it opens with notes of ripe apple and cooked fruit, with hints of honey and a very subtle spicy thread evoking vanilla and cinnamon, supported by a light leather note. The aging imparts warmth and roundness without weighing it down: the distillate's clarity remains evident and the balance between freshness and softness makes it appealing and well defined.

On the palate it reveals substance and depth; the fruit is concentrated but never cloying, accompanied by a creamy softness and a barely perceptible savory note that supports the sip. The finish is long, with returns of caramelized apple, hazelnut and a subtle almond-like note that lingers. It is appreciated both alone and in company, preferably after a meal. Ideal as a contemplative distillate, it pairs successfully with dark chocolate, dry pastries or structured cheeses, served in a small glass to appreciate its complexity.
