Dogliani Superiore DOCG Madonna delle Grazie Vigna Tecc by Poderi Luigi Einaudi is produced in Dogliani, in the province of Cuneo, from selected Dolcetto grapes. The vineyards are planted on marl-calcareous soils with south and south-eastern exposure. These conditions promote balanced ripening and a clear expression of the local terroir. It is a full-bodied red wine suited to medium-term ageing.
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red colour with violet highlights. The bouquet is fresh and generous, offering fruity aromas together with notes of woodland and forest floor. Dry, full and moderately fresh on the palate, it is supported by pleasant tannins and a subtly almond-like finish. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled, glass-lined concrete tanks. After malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine matures in large French oak casks, returns to concrete and then completes its ageing in the bottle.
