Giacomo Grimaldi’s Dolcetto d’Alba DOC comes from Novello in the Langhe and is made from 100% Dolcetto grapes. The vines cover one hectare and face west, growing on soils composed of clay mixed with sand. Vinification includes three days of temperature-controlled maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then matures for nine months in stainless steel. This careful process preserves the grape’s identity and produces an authentic Piedmontese red wine with an alcohol content of 13.5%.

Versatile and easy to enjoy, this Dolcetto is a natural match for traditional Piedmontese cooking. Serve it with pasta featuring meat sauce, agnolotti, cured meats, white meat and medium-aged cheeses. Slightly chilled, it expresses its pleasant drinkability and straightforward character at its best. The estate reports a production of approximately 13,000 bottles in the 0.75-litre format. A balanced table wine that offers a clear expression of the Novello growing area and the precise, uncomplicated style of Giacomo Grimaldi.
