Etna Rosso Contrada Diciassettesalme Oltre DOC by Cottanera is a red wine whose name conveys its identity: it includes a contrada reference and points to Mount Etna. The available information does not specify a vintage, grape variety or production details, so it is best not to attribute undocumented aromatic or technical characteristics to the wine. The DOC designation and producer are therefore the reliable points of reference when making a choice, along with the red-wine category and the full name shown on the label. It is an option for those wishing to explore Cottanera’s range without basing a purchase on details that are not available.

At the table, it can be served with flavoursome but not overly spicy dishes: roasted or grilled meats, mushrooms, baked vegetables and medium-aged cheeses are pairings to consider according to the dish and personal preference. A red-wine glass is suitable for serving, and the wine may be left to breathe briefly before tasting. Serving temperature and aeration time can be adjusted by consulting the label or the retailer’s guidance. A versatile choice for a convivial meal, best selected with attention to the information actually provided.
