Pairing Red meats, aged cheeses, typical Sicilian dishes

The Etna Rosso DOC - Cuore di Marchesa is a wine that embodies the essence of the Sicilian volcanic terroir. This elegant red hails from the fertile and wooded slopes of Etna, where the mineral-rich soil and elevation impart a unique complexity and surprising freshness to the wine.

Cuore di Marchesa is primarily composed of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, indigenous varietals that have perfectly adapted to these unique climatic conditions. The winemaking follows traditional methods, with malolactic fermentation in oak barrels adding nuances of vanilla and light spices to the wine's aromatic profile.

On the nose, Etna Rosso DOC opens with vibrant aromas of cherry and hints of tobacco, enhanced by a subtle stoniness. On the palate, it presents a sublime balance between acidity and tannins, with a medium structure that culminates in a long and pleasantly mineral finish.

Ideal for pairing with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, this wine is distinguished by its ability to fully express the character of its origin, making it a prestigious addition to any wine collection.
