Freisa Langhe DOC 2023 by Piero Benevelli offers a fresh, immediate profile: light ruby color with lively purple highlights, aromas that range from small red fruits to a light floral note and hints of pepper and dried herbs. On the palate it shows a slender structure, marked by pleasant acidity that supports the drinking and fine tannins, slightly rustic but well integrated; the impression is one of balance and clarity, with a pleasant energy that makes the wine smooth and far from predictable. Overall, it’s a wine that invites itself to the everyday table but can also be appreciated with more structured pairings: try it with cured meats and not-too-aged cheeses, pasta dishes with flavorful ragù, or stewed white meats.
