Pairing Appetizers and savory first courses
Coppo's Freisa Langhe DOC 'Mondaccione' is a red wine that conveys the typical character of the Freisa grape in the Langhe. Ruby in color with violet highlights, it offers a fine, inviting bouquet where small red fruits, rosehip and light spicy notes emerge. The expression is balanced, of modest structure and with a subtle floral hint: fragrant aromas and an olfactory profile that stays fresh without being overpowering.

On the palate it is savory and lively, with present but smooth tannins supported by a pleasant acidity that encourages drinking. It pairs well with Piedmontese and Mediterranean dishes: cured meats, semi-mature cheeses, pasta with tomato sauces and preparations of white meat or light braised dishes. Serve slightly cool, around 16–18 °C, in wide glasses to enhance the aromas. Suitable for those seeking a characterful everyday red that accompanies convivial moments without making demands.
