The Friulano Collio DOC La Ponca presents itself with a clean, unpretentious character: the aromatic profile plays on delicate white flowers, a barely perceptible herbaceous note and a hint of almond that don’t overpower. On the palate it shows a balance between freshness and sapidity, with good acidic tension that supports the medium body without weighing it down. It’s a wine with clear yet gentle contours, made for those who appreciate finesse and immediacy more than over-embellishment.

In the mouth it’s frank, with a texture that remains consistent from the first to the last sip; the finish brings back light citrus notes and the slightly bitter return of almond that invites another taste. It lends itself to many pairings: raw seafood and carpaccios, simply prepared fish dishes, vegetable risottos and fresh cheeses. Serve chilled, at a moderate temperature, to enhance its liveliness and the clean purity of the sip.
