Descrizione

Aromas of rose, ripe cherry and light spicy notes that give way to earthy and tobacco nuances. The bouquet is linear and composed, never intrusive, suggesting an elegant rather than opulent character; the color is clear and shows measured concentration, suited to those seeking structure without excess.

On the palate it reveals firm but well-calibrated tannins framed by a fresh acidity that sustains its tension; the sip is vertical, with a good balance between body and lightness that provides persistence. It pairs well with braised meats, roasted game and aged cheeses; it's worth opening it a little earlier or decanting to appreciate its development. Winery history

L'azienda nasce come realtà agricola nel secondo dopoguerra, gestita inizialmente da Giuseppe. Con il figlio Franco la gestione si orienta progressivamente verso la viticoltura e, a partire dagli anni ’80, inizia la vinificazione delle uve prodotte in azienda. Nel 2010 è stato avviato anche un agriturismo per ospitalità turistico-ricettiva. Oggi la conduzione è familiare e coinvolge Franco e i figli Ezio e Claudio.

Production philosophy

L'approccio privilegia la tradizione e il rispetto del territorio: tempi lunghi in vigna e in cantina per valorizzare le caratteristiche dei singoli cru delle Langhe e produrre vini che rispecchino l'identità di Serralunga d'Alba.
