The Gevrey-Chambertin AOC by Benjamin Leroux is a superb and noble expression of Pinot Noir, hailing from the celebrated Burgundy region in France. Celebrated for its complexity and elegance, this wine represents a perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, distinctive traits of Benjamin Leroux, regarded as one of the emerging talents in Burgundian winemaking.

On the nose, Leroux's Gevrey-Chambertin displays an intriguing bouquet of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, enriched by nuances of violet and sweet spices, including a light touch of vanilla and cinnamon due to aging in French oak barrels. This careful approach to using wood enhances the varietal characteristics without overpowering them.

On the palate, it is both elegant and powerful at once, with a smooth entry that evolves into a well-integrated tannic structure and a lasting freshness that beckons the next sip. The finesse of the tannins is balanced by juicy acidity that leads to a long and aromatic finish, with hints of black fruit and a touch of black pepper.

Suitable for prolonged aging in the cellar, this wine can also be enjoyed young, allowing the drinker to appreciate the vibrancy of the fruit and the structural elegance that are typical of Gevrey-Chambertin wines. It is ideal paired with rich dishes such as beef Rossini, wild mushroom-based dishes, or aged cheeses.

Each sip of Benjamin Leroux’s Gevrey-Chambertin is a journey through the richness and heritage of Burgundy, with a promise of evolution and nuances that will unfold over the years. A prestigious addition to any wine collection.
