Pairing Spicy dishes, aged cheeses, Asian cuisine
Elegant and decisive, this Gewürztraminer from Alto Adige by Kettmeir presents an intense yet well-balanced aromatic character. On the nose there are suggestions of rose and exotic fruits, accompanied by a spicy delicacy that is never overpowering; the olfactory texture is soft, with honeyed hints that add depth without weighing it down. Its appeal lies in the ability to combine intensity and clarity: a rich but harmonious bouquet that invites repeated sipping and is easily memorable.

On the palate the wine displays an enveloping roundness, supported by a freshness that lets the sip flow with finesse; sapidity and good persistence complete the picture, avoiding excesses and keeping the finish clean. It pairs well with spiced dishes, delicate curries, savory Asian cuisine, soft cheeses, pumpkin-based preparations and more structured fish; it is also pleasant as an aperitif. Serve at around 10-12°C to best capture its aromatic complexity.
