The Gewurztraminer Fallwind Alto Adige DOC from St. Michael Eppan shows an aromatic profile typical of the variety: the nose reveals notes of lychee, rose petals, ripe citrus and a subtle spicy hint. The bouquet is intense but not overpowering, with good olfactory persistence and a soft, enveloping mouthfeel. On the palate it displays a medium-body structure, balancing acidity and a gentle roundness that leads to a fragrant, slightly saline finish.

It is recommended to serve chilled, around 10–12 °C, in large glasses to enhance the aromas. It pairs well with aromatic dishes: spicy cuisine, shellfish or flavorful fish, appetizers and soft cheeses. The bottle suits informal occasions as well as dinners where a fragrant, not too weighty wine is desired.
