Gin Nikka Coffey is the result of long production studies by the Japanese distillery of Miyagiko, with the use of the Coffey column still, coming from Scotland and imported to Japan in 1963.
It is produced with the use of traditional botanicals, but its exceptional refreshing aromatic complexity is due to Japanese citrus fruits such as Yuzu, Kabosu, Amanatsu and Shikuwasa, and the pungent hints of Sansho pepper that stand out on the finish.
An innovative and complex Gin, with a recognizable texture, which immediately achieved great success all over the world.
Clear and transparent to the eye, the nose immediately reaches intense and fragrant notes of apple juice, lime and orange blossom, followed by notes of coconut milk, apricot and a delicate sprinkling of pepper. Velvety and enveloping on the palate, the complexity of the flavors is surprising, ranging from strong citrus sensations to green tea and ripe fruit.
Excellent in the preparation of cocktails and equally exceptional to drink straight or with ice.
