On the palate the texture is saline and slightly tannic, with medium body and a structure that holds up to a range of pairings. The finish leaves an almondy note and a pleasant citrus persistence that invites a second sip. Excellent served not too cold, it pairs with seafood dishes that are not overly structured, spiced vegetable and rice preparations, or with hard cheeses; it also works well as a wine for conversation.
