Serve it cool or at room temperature in a narrow glass, as a digestif after a meal, or paired with dry pastries, dark chocolate or fresh cheeses. Simple to appreciate, it is also suited to quiet conversation without requiring bulky accompaniments. It works well both as the close to a formal meal and paired with cooked fruit or light tarts.
