This Grappa di Barolo 1991, from Marolo’s Le Grandi Riserve line, offers a mature, measured profile: amber color and a complex bouquet with notes of dried fruit, hazelnut, dark honey and a subtle trail of sweet tobacco. The effect of time is evident in the aromatic depth more than in strength, lending an elegant character that still preserves the typical personality of Barolo pomace. A pleasant freshness balances the alcoholic warmth, making the sip harmonious and well balanced.

On the palate it is flavorful and rounded, with a soft texture rich in nuances: echoes of cooked fruit, delicate sweet spices and a slightly toasted note that prolongs the persistence. The finish is clean, long and classy, suited to those looking for a grappa for contemplation rather than a drink for quick consumption. It is recommended to serve it in small, wide glasses, slightly cool, as a digestif after an important meal or paired with dark chocolate and aged cheeses.
