Grappa di Barolo Solera 7 by Marolo presents a complex, well-defined character: born from Barolo pomace and blended according to the solera method, it offers a rich yet balanced aromatic profile. On the nose there are impressions of dried fruit, light notes of ripe fruit and a touch of sweet spice, while a gentle toasted background adds depth without weighing it down. The sip is intense and clean, with a lovely roundness that envelops the palate and aromatic returns that underline its personality.

On the palate the grappa shows controlled warmth and a pleasant softness; the finish is good and invites a few small sips in succession. It works well as a contemplative digestif and as a companion to dark chocolate or aged cheeses, served at room temperature to appreciate all its nuances. The wooden case that accompanies the bottle also makes it an excellent gift idea—elegant and full of character.
