Mazzetti’s Barricata Moscato Grappa expresses a gentle but defined character: on the nose aromatic notes of orange blossom and acacia honey emerge, alongside light vanilla nuances and ethereal hints of ripe fruit. Aging in wood gives a warm, toasty note without covering the Moscato’s fragrance, offering balance between delicacy and structure. The profile is clean, with an aroma that invites a sip.

On the palate the sip surprises with roundness and softness, supported by well-integrated warmth and a velvety texture; the sweetness conveys the aromatic variety while the wood brings notes of hazelnut and sweet spices, finishing with a harmonious persistence. It should be served at a slightly cool cellar temperature and pairs well with dry pastries, soft cheeses, or as a contemplative after-dinner drink. A choice suited to those seeking a grappa that combines immediate pleasure with a certain complexity to be discovered over time.
