With an alcohol content of 40%, it appears clear and crystalline in the glass.

Ageing
Variable aging: some grappa rest in small stainless steel tanks, others are aged in woods (e.g. Acacia, Oak/Rovere) for periods ranging from a few months up to more than 1,100 days for reserve references.
