The distillation process occurs in traditional bain-marie stills, a method that allows a very accurate separation of the different aromatic components. After distillation, the Storica Nera Grappa is left to rest, thus achieving a maturation that further enhances its aromatic richness and smoothness.
This grappa exhibits a clear and bright color and offers intense olfactory sensations to the nose: notes of fresh fruit and a slight hint of sweet spices create a perfect harmony. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with an impeccable balance between alcohol and aroma, resulting in a long and pleasantly lingering finish.
Ideal to be served at the end of a meal as a digestive, the Storica Nera Grappa from Domenis 1898 is also perfect as a base for refined cocktails or simply to be enjoyed neat, perhaps accompanied by dark chocolate or a selection of aged cheeses. A true sensory experience that celebrates the richness and complexity of Italian grappa.
