Greco di Pietracupa is a white wine from Campania considered one of the best in its category and appreciated internationally.

This wine is made only with Greco grapes, which grow in a cool environment and on volcanic soil rich in minerals. After the harvest, we move on to a delicate pressing followed by alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks. Before bottling it is always left in steel containers for a few months.

To the eye it is straw yellow with golden hues while the nose perceives hints of fruit and citrus followed by mineral aromas to conclude with herbaceous undertones. An intense but balanced taste envelops the palate and then continues with a fruity and mineral aroma.

It goes well with cheeses and meat or fish dishes.

White wines internationally recognized. Terroir of Montefredane with tuffaceous and volcanic soils. Family-run estate with a strong artisanal identity Gambero Rosso recognition: "Up and Coming Winery"
Winery history
The family's winemaking origins are documented in various sources: some report agricultural activity as early as the 1970s in the contrada Vadiaperti, while the modern project known as Pietracupa was launched in the early 1990s. In the years that followed, Sabino Loffredo became the company's leading figure, bringing it national and international visibility with white and red wines that showcase the territory of Montefredane.
Production philosophy
Small-scale production focused on the local area and indigenous varieties, with an artisanal approach that places strong emphasis on grape quality and the expression of the local volcanic soil, highlighting Fiano and Greco as the main references.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Montefredane on hilly terrain over a tuffaceous substratum. The vineyards are planted in the higher, cooler parts of the area, with mineral soils that influence the structure and longevity of the wines.
Awards and recognitions
Noted by Gambero Rosso as "Up and coming winery of the year". Other mentions in guides include awards for Fiano and Greco.
