In the glass this Brunello di Montalcino Riserva reveals a combination of depth and restraint: ripe red fruit, hints of cherry and plum, forest floor and leather, with a gentle spice that does not overpower. The vineyard's organic expression is evident in the saline freshness and the well-defined tannic structure; the sip shows a solid framework without weighing it down, supported by a persistence that invites a second taste. The whole reveals elegance and potential for further evolution in bottle, ideal for those seeking a vertical and measured Brunello.

On the palate the approach is full and well balanced: compact yet polished tannins, lively acidity that gives lift and a long, fragrant finish. It is a Brunello conceived to pair with flavorful dishes, from traditional Tuscan cooking to braises, stews, game and aged cheeses; it also performs well with more structured dishes. It is best to open the wine a few hours beforehand or pour it into a large glass to appreciate its complete profile and the progressive opening of the aromas. Serve around 16–18 °C.
