The Lagrein Mirell DOC from Ansitz Waldgries is born in the heart of Alto Adige, a land that, thanks to its microclimate and altitude, enhances the character of this native grape variety. The Lagrein, known for its intensity and deep ruby color, finds here a perfect expression, thanks to careful vineyard management and a balanced aging process that often involves steel and wood.

In the glass, it presents violet reflections, a complex bouquet where ripe forest fruit aromas, plum, and a spicy touch of black pepper emerge. On the palate, it is enveloping, with soft and well-integrated tannins that underline the structure without weighing down the drinking experience. The persistent finish leaves a pleasant savory and slightly mineral note.

Perfect with red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, this Lagrein Mirell enhances every typical gastronomic experience of the Alto Adige territory.
