The Lagrein Riserva DOC by Ansitz Waldgries is born in the heart of Alto Adige, a territory characterized by ideal microclimates and soils of dolomitic origin that confer uniqueness to the native Lagrein grape variety. This wine stands out for its solid structure and authentic character, the result of aging in oak barrels that enhance its aromatic and gustatory complexity. The nose opens with intense aromas of ripe forest fruits, plum, and a delicate spicy note, while on the palate it surprises with its smoothness and balanced tannic persistence. The deep ruby red color anticipates a full and enveloping body, ready to pair with robust dishes such as grilled meats and aged cheeses.
