The Lagrein from Valle Isarco is a wine that expresses with intensity and character the most straightforward soul of Alto Adige, a land where the mountains, fresh winds, and strong temperature variations help shape wines of great personality. This Lagrein, coming from an indigenous grape variety of ancient tradition, is the result of careful and respectful viticulture of the territory, capable of enhancing the natural power and depth of this red.

Visually, it presents an intense, almost impenetrable, deep ruby red color, which anticipates significant expressive richness. The bouquet on the nose is broad and decisive: it opens with notes of ripe small black fruits, blackberry and plum, enriched by spicy hints of black pepper, licorice, and dark chocolate. With time in the glass, light balsamic and tobacco nuances emerge, adding further complexity and depth.

On the palate, it reveals itself full, vigorous, and enveloping. The tannins, well present but mature, harmoniously integrate with a warm and rounded structure, while a vibrant freshness supports the sip, giving it balance and a long persistence. The finish is elegant and intense, with a pleasant fruity and spicy return.

Served at the ideal temperature of 18°C, the Lagrein from Valle Isarco is a perfect companion for robust traditional dishes, such as braised meats, stewed game, or flavorful roasts, but it also pairs stylishly with aged cheeses and spicy meat-based dishes.

This Lagrein represents one of the most authentic and identity-rich expressions of Alto Adige winemaking, an important red that captivates for power, balance, and aromatic depth.
