The Languedoc - Puech Noble - Rouge from Domaine Rostaing is a magnificent example of the winemaking excellence of the Languedoc region in France. This red wine is produced with a careful selection of native grapes that reflects the deep connection between the land and the winemaking tradition.

On the nose, the Puech Noble - Rouge reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a touch of aromatic herbs, expressing the intense connection with the limestone soil and rocks of the Languedoc. On the palate, the wine is richly structured, with well-balanced tannins and a long persistence that invites a second sip. The tasting experience is enriched by a delicate fusion of flavors reminiscent of cherry, black pepper, and a light vanilla, a testament to refined aging in barrique.

Suitable to accompany robust dishes such as grilled red meats, stews, or aged cheeses, this wine is ideal for those who appreciate an intense and aromatic red that does not fear the passage of time. It is recommended to decant for at least an hour before serving to enhance all its nuances.

Winery history
The domaine is associated with René Rostaing, who began vinifying in the late 1960s and produced his first recorded vintage in 1971. Over the years the domaine expanded its parcels in Côte-Rôtie and also developed a small Condrieu and productions in Languedoc. Management has passed to the next generation with Pierre Rostaing.
Production philosophy
Vineyard and cellar approach focused on showcasing the fruit and the terroir: vinification that prioritizes modern winemaking techniques and the controlled use of barriques so as not to overpower the raw material; crop thinning/leaf removal and the selective use of destemming are mentioned in the technical notes.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquartered in Ampuis, in the Northern Rhône; the main vineyards and cuvées come from historic lieux-dits of Côte-Rôtie and from a parcel in Condrieu. Productions are also listed under IGP Collines Rhodaniennes and in Languedoc.
