Le Coste di Monforte Barolo DOCG in magnum format by Piero Benevelli presents a profile that recalls the typical Nebbiolo personality: in the glass it shows a deep ruby color that evolves toward garnet hues with aeration. The bouquet is composed and savory, with notes of faded rose, dark cherry and light earthy, forest-floor nuances; on the palate it is linear, supported by dense but well-integrated tannins and by a freshness that keeps the palate lively. The impression is of structure and finesse together, with a persistent finish that invites another sip.

This magnum format highlights evolution and sharing: it opens up well after a few hours of decanting and stands up to bold pairings. It pairs with rich dishes such as braises, roasted meats and aged cheeses, but is equally enjoyable with mushroom- and truffle-based preparations. Serve at around 18 °C to capture its completeness and depth.
