Pairing Fish, shellfish, white meats
Lugana presented as a Riserva by Cà Maiol shows a focused, well-defined character: vibrant freshness and a riper texture that supports the sip. On the nose, white-fleshed fruit, citrus hints and a subtle floral note emerge, while a light bitter-almond touch and a mineral note add depth without weighing it down. The balance between acidity and softness is carefully managed; the texture is substantial enough to suggest structure, yet remains smooth and clean.

On the palate it reveals a saline texture and a persistence that invites slow enjoyment; the finish is clean, with citrus returns and a pleasant, slightly bitter note. It is ideal with more flavorful seafood dishes, shellfish and baked fish, but also stands up well to pairings with white meats and soft cheeses. Serve at a moderate temperature to appreciate its precision and substance; a wine that speaks of evolved freshness and a good ability to accompany the table.
