The Lunaris Rosso delle Dolomiti IGT from Gaierhof shows a pleasantly direct character: ripe red fruit, subtle balsamic hints and a touch of spice combine into a harmonious, unpretentious whole. Medium-bodied, it offers a gentle tannic texture and a savory freshness that support the sip without weighing it down; the persistence is pleasant and invites another glass, while the overall profile remains balanced and easily approachable.

It naturally suits rustic, everyday dishes: cured meats, medium-aged cheeses, white meats and mushroom preparations find good affinities. Recommended to serve it around 16-18°C in a large glass to better appreciate the balance between freshness and structure. It’s a versatile red, able to accompany both an informal dinner and a more refined mountain meal without losing balance or personality.
