Maggiarino Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG from La Braccesca is a red wine with an elegant, measured profile. It shows a ruby color with lively reflections; on the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit, light spicy notes and earthy nuances that intertwine without being intrusive. On the palate it displays a balanced structure, present but polished tannins and acidity that supports the drinkability, offering a harmonious progression to a dry, characterful finish. It is a classic expression of the denomination, intended for those seeking pleasure and precision without excess.

Produced by La Braccesca, this Vino Nobile pairs easily with meat dishes, stews and semi-firm cheeses; it is also suitable for pairings with savory preparations of Italian cuisine. To best appreciate its aromas, serve slightly cooler than room temperature and, if desired, allow it to breathe for a few minutes after opening. A versatile option for those looking for a characterful, well-crafted everyday red.

Winery history
The name comes from the historic farmhouse of the Conti Bracci. The property became part of the Marchesi Antinori family's holdings in 1990; that same year saw the first Vino Nobile di Montepulciano released under the La Braccesca label. Today the estate combines respect for local tradition with ongoing viticultural experimentation.
Production philosophy
Combining tradition and innovation: attentive stewardship of the vineyards, winemaking that showcases native varieties, and experimentation, with aging in casks and selected barriques to enhance the wines' characteristics.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate extends across the territories of Montepulciano and Cortona in Tuscany. The vineyards are divided into two main blocks, including renowned subzones such as Cervognano, Santa Pia and Gracciano. The soils for the Cortona Syrah are clay- and silt-rich, with a relatively dry climate.
