This Malvasia from Tenuta Luisa represents a perfect blend of tradition and winemaking innovation. Hailing from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, known for its rich wine-making tradition, this wine exemplifies the skill and passion with which every detail of the production process is tended to.

The Malvasia from Tenuta Luisa displays a straw-yellow color with golden highlights. It opens with an intense and complex bouquet, characterized by aromas of ripe fruit such as peaches and apricots, enhanced by floral notes and a slight touch of sweet spices, typical of the Malvasia grape variety. Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks help preserve the freshness and original aromaticity of the grapes.

On the palate, the wine is balanced and harmonious. The attack is soft and enveloping, followed by a pleasant acidity that contributes to a persistent freshness. The structure is subtle yet well-defined, with a long and pleasantly aromatic finish that invites a second sip.

This Malvasia is ideal as an aperitif, but it also pairs beautifully with delicate fish dishes, white meats, and fresh cheeses. Its versatility makes it an excellent choice for various culinary pairings, elevating every dining experience.

A bottle of Malvasia from Tenuta Luisa is not just a wine, but a journey through the flavors and aromas of one of Italy's most esteemed wine regions. A must-have for any enthusiast who wishes to explore the nuances of one of the most characteristic and appreciated grape varieties.

Winery history
A family history that began with the purchase of the first plots by Francesco Luisa in the early 20th century. The estate has grown over several generations with documented milestones: expansion of the vineyards, construction of a new winery in the 1990s, and the launch of premium lines such as "I Ferretti" and "Millésimée". The estate's website records the first purchase of 5 hectares in 1907 and progressive growth to more than 100 hectares today.
Production philosophy
Vineyard-to-glass approach: quality that originates in the vineyard through low yields, high planting density and targeted treatments. In the winery, intervention is limited and aging is carefully managed for the selections. The winery also declares a commitment to environmental sustainability, with practices that have received recognitions and certifications as noted in the sources.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the plain between Collio and Carso, within the DOC Friuli Isonzo. Soils consist of mixed gravel and decalcified limestone with clayey sections. Approximate elevation 35–50 m above sea level. The climate is influenced by the Bora and Scirocco, with diurnal temperature variations that favour aromatic ripening.
