Il Maratheftiko della cantina Makarounas è un vino rosso esclusivo che rappresenta al meglio la tradizione vinicola di Cipro. Questo vino è ottenuto da uve di Maratheftiko, un raro vitigno autoctono che esprime in modo eccellente il territorio cipriota. La vinificazione avviene con grande attenzione per preservare tutta la complessità aromatica e gustativa di queste uve.

Il Maratheftiko si presenta con un colore rosso rubino intenso e profondi riflessi violacei. Al naso emergono profumi complessi e seducenti di frutti rossi maturi, come ciliegie e prugne, accompagnati da note speziate di pepe nero e sfumature di tabacco e cuoio, che conferiscono profondità e carattere.
