The Concerto di Lambrusco DOC, produced by the renowned Medici Ermete winery, represents an outstanding example of how Lambrusco can embody sophistication and character. Originating from the fertile lands of Emilia-Romagna, this wine is the result of meticulous practices starting from the selection of grapes to the vinification process using traditional methods that enhance its quality.

Visually, the Concerto showcases an intense ruby red color with lively effervescence that foretells the freshness and energy of the sip. On the nose, it emits aromas of ripe red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, enriched by slight floral notes and a subtle touch of spices. This olfactory complexity anticipates a balanced and pleasantly harmonic taste experience.

In the mouth, the Concerto di Lambrusco stands out for its perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The fine and persistent bubbles caress the palate, making each sip invigorating and satisfying. The finish is characterized by a lasting freshness that invites another glass.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine pairs beautifully with dishes from the Emilian cuisine, such as cold cuts, stuffed pastas, and semi-aged cheeses. It is also an excellent companion for lighter dishes like summer salads or vegetable-based starters.

With a moderate alcohol content, the Medici Ermete's Concerto di Lambrusco DOC in 375ml bottles is perfect for those who wish to enjoy an exceptional Italian wine in smaller portions, keeping every sip fresh and inviting. Truly a gem to have on hand to celebrate the small joys of everyday life.

Winery history
Founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici. Managed by Ermete and subsequent generations, the company took part in the Lambrusco boom of the 1970s. In the late 1980s the family restructured production (lower yields, replanting) and in 1993 launched the Lambrusco “Concerto.” Today the fifth generation leads the winery, which manages about 80 hectares of organically farmed vineyards.
Production philosophy
Enhancing territory and typicity through respectful viticulture (reduced yields per hectare), strict grape selection, careful winemaking and a commitment to sustainability (the “Generation 2031” program and organic conversion of vineyards).
Terroir and vineyards
Emilia-Romagna (province of Reggio Emilia): vineyards spread between the plain and the hills of the Enza valley; soils mainly clayey. Company headquarters in Gaida di Reggio Emilia.
Awards and recognitions
Lambrusco "Concerto" has repeatedly received the Tre Bicchieri di Gambero Rosso; other recent recognitions include high scores from Wine Enthusiast for "Phermento" and medals and mentions in international competitions. Reported certifications: organic and Equalitas.
