Merì DOC by Argiolas is a white wine that expresses with elegance and freshness the characteristics of the Vermentino grape, grown in sunny Sardinia. The Argiolas winery, located in the South Sardinia region, is renowned for its dedication to quality viticulture and for the production of wines that reflect the authenticity and richness of the island territory.

Merì, part of the line of wines that Argiolas dedicates to native Sardinian vines, is a tribute to the island's winemaking tradition and its ability to produce white wines of great character and pleasantness. The name "Merì" is inspired by the Sardinian word which evokes the sea and the sea breeze, elements which characterize the terroir of cultivation of Vermentino and positively influence its growth and maturation.

The vinification of Merì DOC follows a careful and respectful process of the raw materials, with the aim of preserving the primary aromas of the vine and its natural freshness. The wine does not undergo aging in wood, to maintain the varietal expression unaltered and guarantee immediate drinkability, while retaining good aging potential.

Visually, Merì has a brilliant straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that accentuate its freshness. On the nose, the wine unfolds an intense and inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of white pulp fruit, citrus, wild flowers and a marked minerality, which recalls the suggestions of the Sardinian coastal landscape.

In the mouth, Merì DOC is lively and harmonious, with a well-balanced acidity that gives dynamism to the sip. The flavors of fresh fruit and citrus fruits intertwine with mineral and saline sensations, typical of Vermentino grown near the sea, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, seafood, light appetizers and Mediterranean cuisine, Merì DOC by Argiolas is a wine that invites conviviality and the discovery of the authentic flavors of Sardinia.

In conclusion, Merì DOC represents Argiolas' ability to create wines that are a bridge between tradition and modernity, offering a tasting experience that is both faithful to the grape variety and a pure expression of its connection with the Sardinian territory.
