This Merlot Cabernet Riserva Fallwind Alto Adige DOC from St. Michael Eppan offers a concentrated, restrained aromatic profile, reflecting the Merlot and Cabernet varieties listed on the label. The color is a deep ruby; on the nose there are red and dark berries, plum and ripe cherry, with gentle sweet spice notes and light earthy hints. On the palate it is harmonious: the tannic structure is well defined without sharpness, acidity is balanced and the overall impression is compact and substantial.

It pairs naturally with red meats, roasts, braised dishes and mature cheeses, and also suits preparations with mushrooms or game. To best appreciate its expression serve at around 16–18 °C; brief aeration in a decanter can help open the aromas. The Riserva designation on the label indicates particular care in vinification and grape selection; the wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for moderate development, according to preference.
