The Merlot Stomo DOC by Conte Brandolini d'Adda is a celebration of the Merlot grape variety in its purest and most intense expression, grown in the fertile lands of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a region known for its ability to produce red wines of character and depth. This label represents the Brandolini d'Adda family's commitment to creating wines that reflect the richness of the terroir and the passion for quality viticulture.

Located in an area particularly suited to viticulture, Conte Brandolini d'Adda's estate takes advantage of the ideal climate and well-drained soil to grow Merlot grapes that ripen perfectly, expressing all the potential of the vine. The vinification aims to preserve the integrity and freshness of the fruit, while the aging in wood helps to give the wine structure and complexity, without overpowering the varietal characteristics.

Stomo Merlot stands out for its deep ruby red color and for the aromatic bouquet which offers notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, together with nuances of spices and a light herbaceous hint, which adds complexity and typicality to the olfactory profile. The balanced use of wood during refinement introduces delicate notes of vanilla and toasting, which integrate harmoniously with the fruit.

In the mouth, the wine reveals a solid but elegant structure, with soft and well-integrated tannins that give a pleasant velvety sensation on the palate. The acidity is well balanced, supporting the fruit flavors and ensuring the wine has good freshness and drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with an aftertaste that recalls the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose.

Ideal in combination with red meat dishes, roast poultry, game and medium-aged cheeses, the Merlot Stomo DOC by Conte Brandolini d'Adda is also an excellent meditation wine, capable of offering moments of pure tasting pleasure thanks to its aromatic richness and its balanced structure.

In conclusion, Merlot Stomo DOC represents the oenological excellence of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, showing how the Brandolini d'Adda family has managed to interpret the Merlot grape with mastery and passion, creating a wine that is at the same time an expression of the territory and testimony of an ancient winemaking tradition.
