Merlot Venezia DOC by Terre Petrose comes from vineyards cultivated in the picturesque area of the Venetian plain, characterized by clay soils and a temperate climate. This wine stands out for an intense ruby color and a bouquet rich in fruity notes, where mature cherry and plum emerge, accompanied by delicate spicy hints. On the palate, it shows a soft and velvety structure, with well-integrated tannins and a balanced, persistent finish. The aging, typically in steel tanks and partially in wood, enhances the grape variety's freshness and gives roundness. Ideal with white meats, medium-aged cheeses, and dishes from traditional Venetian cuisine.
