The Merlot Venezia DOC of Terre Petrose is born in the fertile soils surrounding Venice, a unique terroir that gives the grape an elegant and smooth expression. Characterized by an intense ruby red color, this Merlot releases aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, wrapped in delicate spicy notes and a slight herbaceous scent typical of the grape variety.
On the palate, it is balanced, with silky tannins and a pleasant persistence that invites new sips. The aging in steel preserves the freshness and integrity of the aromas, making it ideal paired with red meats, flavorful first courses, and aged cheeses.
